More than that, everything about it shows that it was a high-dollar, top-of-the-line piece of furniture when it was new. Quality holds up. It is in perfect condition 70 or so years later.
The piece is mahogany with mahogany secondary woods! It has a handsome curved, beveled mirror. The drawers have tiny, beautiful dove tails. Each drawer has dust foils! And visually — well, just take a peek!

This year we are bringing out the flowers, butterflies, etc. early so you folks can get a look at them! It’s an ancient art form called Ne’Qua. They are painted on the inside of glass, globes, vases, egg shaped ornaments. Many of them are signed, but all are oh, so lovely!

Here is a photo showing you how they are painted — from the inside with a little curved brush. Most of them are artist signed.


There are Angels, Butterflies, Bride and Groom, Birds, Hummingbirds, Flowers and beautifully painted crosses. Of course nearer to the holidays there will be snowmen and Santas. Because they are painted on the inside, you can’t accidentally scratch them.


They come in THE most beautiful, velvet gift boxes with a description of the ancient art of Ne’Qua. Don’t forget, we sold out of them last year! If you want an UGA piece, please come in and take it home today. PERFECT for that new GA student or for recent grads, or anyone who wants to show their red and black!
