Made with beautiful High Flake, sometimes referred to as Tiger Oak, this side board is around 100 years old. Just a lovely old piece. Starting next week we will be putting items from a grand old estate. Come take a look.

At In Due Time and Now…I Have Everything we have been into recycling since our inception! Don Hancock builds furniture out of gorgeous old wood. Recycle that great, old, dense wood — don’t put it on a burn pile. Selling vintage, antique items is recycling on a large scale!
Now Jennifer Sellers and Now…I Have Everything have found a woman in California who makes THE most spectacular and imaginative jewelry!
The top photo shows the ingenious earrings and necklaces made from colored pencils and knitting needles and river rocks! Next you gotta love necklaces and earring from guitar picks! Lastly– can you imagine, jewelry made from keys and watch faces!? come in and see these, the photos do not do them any justice!

Rae gets prettier every year! Here she is modeling the new Bottle Cap Belts at Now…I Have Everything! Talk about recycling. These are made from recycled rubber tires and car seat belts and the decoration–well, these are bottle caps. And they are done as a theme. Like soft drinks? Guess what, one belt is decorated with soft drink bottle caps. Another belt is done in a western theme or one with, gosh, come to the shop and check them all out! The buckle? You are in for a surprise: It’s a seat belt buckle!

Oh, yes! Don Hancock hit a homerun with this sofa table. The top board is all of 17″ wide. What a tree grew this! It is 2 gorgeous pieces of 100 year old heart pine! The turns on the legs are enough to add interest and not busy! Perfect, Don, perfect! Come in and take a look.

We have received two new Borax ware bedroom sets at the shop. While ‘fine furniture’ was made of fancy veneers, this inexpensive furniture was of solid wood. Instead of ornate, hand carving, this less expensive alternative was ornamented with a curved design done by a tool like a router. Now that some of that pretty old veneer is popping up and chipping off, the solid borax ware from the depression era and soon thereafter, is still just what it was, solid furniture!I have also heard that small stores selling this less expensive furniture, gave away coupons for Boraxo soap powder.Don’t know of any way to corroborate that one!
