In Due Time Collectibles

It takes a great baker to make a great muffin!  On Friday evening, October 3rd, we will be hosting Bakers Unite our kick-off First Friday event.  Tamara Kendall will be baking a wide variety of muffins and allowing all of us to sample!

Come on down to In Due Time from 6 – 8 pm next Friday and share muffins, refreshments, door prizes, recipes and more!  To make it more fun, Now…I Have Everything and In Due Time will offer a big 30% discount on any item you can convince us is for cooking or your kitchen!  “I believe that I will be wearing this necklace to cook in because it matches my kitchen.”  Okay, I’ll buy that!  Get creative and join us!

Well, she’s a sweetheart and she is about 100 years old, Miss Fran is!  There were many items we will be putting up for sale, a brass table, a lithograph, flow blue, costume jewelry, a lovely hand-pieced quilt, lots of beautiful English blue and white china, big red wine goblets, a grandfather clock, perfume bottles, mirrors, lamps, desks, glassware and more and more and more….In the next week or two we will get it all out and into the shop.  Great stuff at a fabulous price.  Yup, that’s what we are known for at IN DUE TIME!!!  Come take a look and we will show you these new pieces.  Should be adding some photos in the next day or two.

If you are looking at dishes or porcelains, etc.  If the name “England” (or that of some other country) appears, the dish was probably made after 1891, but it may have been made as early as 1887. The words “made in England” (or some other country) indicate the piece was made after 1914.

As with any collectible evaluation, the more you read and learn about any subject, the better your own personal collection will be.

Adding a new business to In Due Time, the Now…I Have Everything gift shop, we are so excited we want to stretch out and try some new things!! Beginning in October we will be open later on the first Friday of each month. In October the date will be October 3rd until 8 pm. Our kickoff event will be called BAKERS UNITE!!

Joanne’s daughter in law had such success with her baked goods at our Customer Appreciation Night, she is hosting a Muffin Sampling Party called Bakers Unite on Friday October 3rd. We will have a demo, a muffin sampling, some great baking tips and, of course, a nice DOOR PRIZE! In conjunction In Due Time will give a discount on ANYTHING you can convince us is kitchen/cooking-related! 30% off!! Come in on Friday, October 3rd for our fist FIRST FRIDAY!

Nov 7th we will MEET THE ARTIST. Jeannie Merritt is a hometown, Moultrie gal and we sell ALOT of her painting. Come on in and meet Jeannie, see some of her new work and get a little hand painted, personalized doo-dah to take home.

December 5th we will have a Guy’s Night Out. Get your personal shopper to help you select that perfect gift from antique treasures to new gift and jewelry items. Then we will give it an individual and distintive gift wray so you an say, “I have that perfect gift and it was easy!” Friday 5:30 until 8 and we will have a terrific door prize that you can give as a gift, too!
