Everywhere I looked this up, it said RARE! It is an Eagle Pattern by Watt Ovenware and is listed as a cookie jar or, alternately, a canister. Come take a look at it at Downtown Moultrie, GA IN DUE TIME 118 S. Main Street. Just beautiful! Lines so simple and elegant.

This spectacular necklace is made of the most beautiful emerald-cut Austrian rhinestones. The grand Eisenberg necklace has a simple and elegant design closure. Any of these rhinestones can slide into the signature closure. Lovely!

Occasionally in the collectibles business you come across some items that you think will sell, just because they are a WOW to you. Sometimes you are right, other times — not so much….
But day in day out, years they do go by and some things are ALWAYS in demand. The pottery with the McCoy mark is just that way. There are collectors of the McCoy cookie jars, there are wall pocket collectors and McCoy has some beauties, some like the planters or select all things in one glaze color, or…you could just go on and on.
Recently we have gotten a few new McCoy items and I thought you might like to see one of them.

The Louis Stetson family came from Poland and immediately saw the opportunity to supply the American consumer with decorated whiteware. He and his nephew began with decals, but loved the look of the handpainted, “American-looking” pottery. By the mid-forties they had their own company and were employing painters from Blue Ridge and Red Wing potteries. The look is similar to Blue Ridge — those primitive, stunning, brush strokes. Just right. I have recently gotten quite a collections. Come take a look!!

Sherri and I went to look at a bunch of quilts today. Miss Willene of Ocilla, GA said she had some she was interested in selling. We took a look and agreed that we loved them, too! Oh, said she, I also have two older chenille bedspreads. Interested? A pretty pink and white one and a gorgeous blue and white one with flowers. I am loving these!
